Riviera Maya, Q.R. — With direct promotions during the recent Tianguis Turístico 2023 in Mexico City, Quintana Roo has new direct flights.
Governor Mara Lezama said among the state’s achievements during the fair was the addition of several new flights. She says the state was successful in increasing air frequencies of five national flights with Volaris.
She says the new schedule includes flights from Bajío, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Puebla and Querétaro.
Likewise, Viva Aerobus, which recently announced the flight from Quito to Cancun that starts June 16, announced the new Los Cabos-Cancun route, which begins a daily on May 18.
In addition, there will be an increase in the frequencies of the Toluca-Cancun route from two to three times a week. As of March 26, Aeroméxico started the Mexico City-Cozumel route.
Tag airline announced that this year it plans to expand its fleet and add a Chetumal-Guatemala flight, while the new company Aerus also showed its intentions to launch a Chetumal-Cancun route.
